Adrienne CarrierAdrienne Carrier, an Extended Education faculty member, completed her M.Ed. with a focus on Equity and Social Justice as well as the needs of Aboriginal Students in Post-Secondary Education Programs. She has also taught the Cross-Cultural Education course (EDUA 1540) for three consecutive terms Cathy RockeCathy Rocke’s dissertation research is situated with Aboriginal Focus Programs. Rocke will be studying the efficacy of workplace educational initiatives that seek to address racism and social inequality. Of particular interest will be the use of “story” in changing prejudicial attitudes that often lead to discriminatory behavior within the workplace. Her research will be completed at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority where she will be researching/evaluating the delivery of the “Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop” that has been delivered for over 15 years to staff in the WRHA. Christina RogozaChristina Rogoza's dissertation is on the Relationship of Epistemological Beliefs to Preference for Online Learning in Undergraduate Hispanic Students. |
