Winnipeg: Home to the new Canadian Museum for Human Rights; headquarters of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada; and location of the University of Manitoba, a cutting-edge leader in human rights studies. Students have ample and broad opportunities to engage in human rights related study in a variety of faculties and departments across the university. From Law to Kinesiology and Recreation Management to Nursing and more, expert faculty members offer courses with a significant human rights component. Many faculties and departments are continuing to develop their human rights study offerings and some are developing a concentration in human rights.
